A large telecommunications company located in Greenwood Village, CO, is looking for an iOS Developer to join their team. This individual will get the opportunity work on a large-scale mobile television application for iOS devices. The application has about a million users per day and opens the door for this person to work on a high impact app. There are several exciting initiatives surrounding this app that this person would be contributing to and working cross functionally with other organizations across the company for. The application is currently going through a large redesign project and this person would be heavily interfacing with the UI (user interface) team. Daily roles and responsibilities for this opportunity will include working on maintenance of the app, bug fixes and the development of new features. This will be heads down development role primarily using Swift. Although the day to day of this will be primarily development, this team has also had a recent push to get developers more involved in their analytics tool to monitor and track the success of new feature implementation real time.
This team has a total of 8 people that all support the television application, 4 that specifically support iOS and 4 that support Apple TV. The team is split pretty 50-50 with junior/mid-level developers and senior developers. They pride themselves on having a really strong learning environment where everyone has a voice and something to bring to the table regardless of tenure with the company, experience level, etc. With collaboration being such an important part of the team culture and the role, this person will be required to work on site 2-3 times a week with the remaining days being remote. There is flexibility for each person to choose which days they are on site to best fit everyone's schedules. This will be a 6-month contract opportunity with rolling 6-month extensions and potential for conversions. This role is offering between $55-70 per hour while on contract.
