An employer in the Lakewood, Colorado area is looking for a Sterilization Engineering Manager to join their team. This Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a cross functional team including a mechanical and automation team (2 Automation Engineers, 1 Mechanical Engineer, 5 Maintenance Technicians, 1 custodian). The automation team is responsible for merging the sterilization unit to a custom software, ControlLogix, so this candidate will be responsible for guiding the engineers and techs in this initiative. They will also be responsible for the organization, planning, facilitation and execution of engineering efforts, and safety initiatives in a high-risk sterilization facility. The ideal candidate will come from a sterilization background within a highly regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, aerospace) and comfortable relocating or commuting to Lakewood, Colorado.
Bachelor's Degree, Engineering related field preferred
2+ years of experience leading a team of engineers/ technicians (team of 9)
7+ years of experience as an automation engineer
3+ years of recent experience working in a highly regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, aerospace)
