Job Description
Our client is looking for a registered dietitian or DO with functional nutrition background that has experience or is looking to expand their experience into data mapping. Within this organization, this person will be titled 'Food Health Score Lead' which will tie in their current experience with data mapping and the connecting to their application. We are looking for someone that wants to join their clinical expertise with data driven team to produce an algorithm that will encourage individuals to make healthier food based choices. This person is expected to be local to Colorado so they can go into the office in Boulder a few days a week. Our client is an emerging leader in the food as medicine tech space and scores food for users based on their body, behaviors and goals. The leader must be well rounded in the dietetic and nutrition space with exposure to all diet related disease conditions. The individual will be responsible for the attribution of food and user profiles and how the data interacts with each other. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for running consistent studies alongside well respected research firms, institutions and universities. This person will lead the scoring committee by building the logic behind the system and presenting it to said committee for review and approval. To be successful in this role, we need someone with a good understanding of all USDA, FDA, ANA, ADA, and AHA guidelines and be detail oriented. We are expecting this person to have, at least, 5+ years of experience in nutrition science and dietetics, as well as, comfortability reviewing data and creating a plan around it. This person needs to be self-starter, resourceful, gritty, energetic, and kind. This person needs to be comfortable with ambiguity and can adapt to rapidly changing situations. Required Skills & Experience
5+ years in nutrition science and dietetics
Registered dietitian or DO in functional nutrition
Ability to present new ideas with supporting data
Experience with USDA, FDA, ANA, ADA, and AHA guidelines
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Strong understanding of diet related disease
