A company in the Denver, CO area is looking to hire a Senior Accounting Operations Manager to join their team. This person will be responsible for supporting all accounting functions including aligning processes, systems, people, and controls to meet internal and external reporting requirements. You will support the accounting team with the global ERP implementation project and provide guidance when necessary. Other responsibilites include: month end close activities, leading data migration efforts by streamlining existing financial master data elements in compliance with US GAAP, and serving as a business partner in special projects such as performing technical accounting research, working with business stakeholders to develop new processes and systems, and leveraging the new ERP developments.
* 8-10 years of expereince in accounting and consolidations
* 8+ years of experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Blackline)
* Active CPA Certification required
* Experience working for a large company doing global consolidations
* Experience in a manufacturing or inventory environment
* Technical accounting background
* Knowledge of US GAAP
* Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
* Experience working for a global company with multiple functional currencies and legal entities
