Job Description

100% Remote. Preferrably by a Schwab Hub in Denver, CO, Austin, TX or San Francisco, CA BEACON: UX Research & Analytics Lead Overview: The Beacon design system team creates digital tools and capabilities that are used to build and enhance marketing experiences for investors across ~25 Schwab websites. To ensure our digital solutions and assets are effective, we conduct testing and research to gather actionable user insights and data as part of our workflow before releasing a new or enhanced solution at scale across marketing channels. This UX Research role will play a critical lead role by defining our research and test roadmap for 2023 and executing those plans each quarter in collaboration with partners and stakeholders. We anticipate running a continuous stream of tests, research studies or other experimentation to gain insights and data from system users and end users (clients and prospects) across key initiatives as part of an agile, sprint-based approach. We estimate a total of 5-10 research efforts each quarter in 2023. The solutions we’ll test and/or research will have an impact on business outcomes such as engagement, conversion and brand impression. This includes design system components, tools and capabilities to meet objectives such as - User Engagement & Conversion: motion and interactivity tactics (video, animation) - User Comprehension: components (marquees, panels, cards, decks) for marketing content strategies - User Flows: navigation and way finding Role Description This is a lead role that will own and drive the Beacon test and Research through UserZoom and A/B Testing using Optimizely leveraging data and insights from multiple sources such as Adobe Analytics and Content Management System (CMS) reporting. learning strategy, primarily qualitative and quantitative UX They will coordinate with our UX Designers and Developers as well as Business Stakeholders among other research and test teams as they develop strategic test/research plans, execute them and communicate actionable learnings and insights. Responsibilities include owning and driving the Beacon learning strategy/agenda, creating hypothesis/plans, research and test execution, gathering data and analyzing results. Project management and cross team coordination. Consulting and knowledge sharing with the team, partners and stakeholders.
