Job Description

A customer of Insight Global is looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer to come and join their team! As a key member of the Cloud Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ongoing production operations in the cloud and migrating applications to the AWS Platform. You will collaborate with other teams to ensure that the cloud environment meets all requirements. This position is a Hybrid role located in Denver, Colorado. This team typically meets up onsite 2-3 days a week for collaboration and support.



What you will do:

-Develop and maintain a resilient, secure, and efficient cloud-hosted platform to meet established SLAs while supporting the rollout of new software releases and maintenance updates

-Coordinate with Cloud Engineering team members and other stakeholders to build, monitor, and maintain a secure cloud-hosted infrastructure via automation in both production and non-production environment

-Design Native Cloud Application Architectures and optimize applications for AWS

-Play a key role in migrating and transforming legacy solutions to the cloud

- Manage cloud cost, security, and compliance

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ years of AWS Cloud Services experience

-Experienced and Knowledgable in DevOps/Application support

-Background supporting Infrastructure as a Service(IaaS)

- Experience deploying AWS services using AWS cloud formation(Infrastructure as a code)

-Knowledge of AWS security design principles

-7+ years of Linux experience

- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies

- Knowledge of ITSM delivery

-Excellent communication and coordination with external teams

-Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
