A multi-billion dollar telecom company in the Denver, CO area is looking to hire a Test Developer to join their team for a long term contract. This team is a part of the Video department that focuses on cable and streaming video services. On this team you will be working on projects of high complexity within multiple test/development environments. This position is both onsite and remote. You would be required to be onsite 3 days a week. This position is open to C2C or W2.
As the Test Developer you will be responsible for designing and developing automated test scripts. You will be expected to gather information from the team, design, develop, test, execute, and prepare reports. You will facilitate review meetings with the teams stakeholders. Also, you will perform analysis of manual test cases and functional requirements. The ideal candidate looks for solutions to automate test cases early in the test life cycle.
Some of the other responsibilities you will have as the Test Developer are as follows. Create test cases or writing defects and help identify and troubleshoot defects in different scenarios. Solve technical problems and translate technical requirements into test plans. Develop automation frameworks like Data driven, Keyword driven, etc. Develop, modify, enhance and implement test plans designed to support new or existing business initiatives.
This position is slated as a 1 year contract with a high likelihood of that being extended if you perform in accordance with the company standards. This will be a hybrid role where you are expected to work in the office 3 days a week so if you do not currently live in the Denver, CO area you must be willing to relocate for the duration of the contract.
