An employer in Denver is looking for someone to join the sustainability team as a Program Manager. This person will spearhead development and execution of district-wide programs of sustainability policy, environmental stewardship, energy conservation, and environmental literacy through the integration of education, research, facilities and operations. They will assist in the development, articulation and implementation of the vision of sustainability and promote this vision internally and externally. They will also manage the development of the Renew Our Schools Program, National Wildlife Federation's Eco Schools Program and the US Dept of Education's Green Ribbons program within DPS schools. This person will monitor energy and water use and work with controls engineer, Building Optimization team, HVAC, plumbing and grounds departments to address problems in energy and water usage and make recommendations regarding methods, behaviors and technologies to reduce waste, save energy, save money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase environmental awareness among students, staff and the larger community.
