Insight Global is seeking a part-time Remote Accounting Clerk to join a government entity in Colorado. This is a 4-month contract position that's associated with the FEMA Public Assistance Program. The client needs assistance navigating the grant closeout process for three major disaster declarations: DR 4145 Flooding, DR 4229 Severe Storms, and DR 4634 Marshall Fire. Across the three disasters, the client has 56 Project Worksheets (PWs), of which approximately 40 are open and need to be submitted to the State of Colorado for closeout. Other duties include but are not limited to:
* Collaborate with county finance staff to reconcile project costs, organize reports, and maintain files
* Assists with documentation and PW closeout submissions
* Data entry
* Various other administrative duties
- Experience with FEMA Public Assistance Grant Experience, or similar
