Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a senior security network engineer to sit fully remote. The main responsibility of this role is to help implement best practices with emerging technologies (Cato) in SASE, Zero Trust, NAC, Meraki, and Cloud Networking to enhance network performance, security, and scalability. Day to day, the ideal candidate will spend 80% of the time supporting the infrastructure to help with radius service authentication, creating switch profiles and standing up VLANS to help support the cyber environment. 10% will be helping with M&A projects to make sure zero trust is properly stood up and the last 10% of the time will be helping with network support with escalated help desk tickets.
Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of experience as a Senior Network Security Engineer
-Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing SASE network architectures and technologies, with a specific focus on cloud networking.
-In-depth understanding of Zero Trust principles and their application in network architecture, security policies, access control, and cloud environments
-Proficient in implementing and managing Network Access Control (NAC) solutions in hybrid and multi-cloud environments using Radius Server.
-Extensive experience with Meraki devices, including switches and wireless access points both on-premises and in the cloud.
-Knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, firewall configurations, and their integration with cloud platforms.
