Our release engineering team focuses on working closely with various cloudera engineering teams to build and maintain automated state-of-the-art build and release infrastructure. Ideal candidate for the position requires a self-motivated individual with strong programming fundamentals and prior programming or automation experience to handle responsibilities across different phases of the software development lifecycle. You will be using your passion in building tools and robust infrastructure to support big data platforms. You will also have exposure to complex data engineering systems and challenges of one of the biggest distributed systems developed by mankind.
* Daily monitoring of our redhat, ubuntu, sles build and debug build failures.
Create and improve tools on continuous integration, automated testing and release management using Python.
Collaborating closely with Engineering, Quality Engineering and Platform teams.
Build strong infrastructure using OpenShift, BareMetal, AWS, GKE and Azure.
Create and maintain CI/CD for all kinds of platforms
*5+ years of experience as a release engineer/devops
Experience with Jenkins.
* Experience with Linux/Unix
* Experience with automating CI/CD processes.
* Experience monitoring and debugging build failures
* Progaming experience with Python and Shell Scripting
* Experience with Hadoop
* Experience with OpenSource Tools such as Hapache
