A private university in San Diego is looking for a Buyer/Purchasing Agent to start immediately. This person will be working with one other buyer in a fast paced environment. They will be specifically responsible for the purchasing and management of furniture at the university.
Some Duties Include:
- Manage warehouse of surplus furniture
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers to obtain new furniture
- Regularly communicate with end users
- Track work order tickets in Salesforce
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
- 2 years of buyer experience in a fast paced environment
- Experience working with MRO (maintenance repair operations)
- 2 years of experience working with an ERP system (workday or oracle preferred)
