Remote DevOps Engineer

An Employer is looking for a Remote DevOps Engineer to support an ongoing program with one of their top clients. This individual will be responsible for managing the DevOps environment in support of ongoing application development projects for the deliver teams customer. This individual will serve a critical role in successful delivery of the services, and will create best practices around tooling, continuous integration and continuous delivery.

Additional responsibilities include:

Maintaining the development CI/CD pipeline

Adding new CI or CD technologies to the existing pipeline

Troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline issues

Collaborating with the Platform team to prioritize tickets and share knowledge

Directly working with the Product Owner to understand user stories

Working as part of a Scrum Team

5+ years of experience in DevOps

Strong experience with AWS

Hands on experience using Helm

Strong experience working with containers/orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, specifically using EKS for AWS managed Kubernetes services.

Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as CircleCI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline etc

Past experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Experience working with and supporting Agile development teams

1+ years of experience working with Git and related tools (e.g., GitHub, BitBucket, etc.)

Experience in consulting or with service delivery teams
