One of the largest automotive companies in the US is looking to grow their Energy division. This position will seek out future product solution, provide technical expertise towards the development of future energy product technologies and oversee prototype /quick-to-market products. Additional responsibilities include assessing competitive products, conducting product reviews, understanding emerging energy and battery technology domains, product roadmaps, assess future technology strategic partnership opportunities, provide technical expertise towards future battery chemistry strategy and evaluating potential partnerships. Experience with grid tied power electronic products/systems including solar, energy storage batteries, digital control and monitoring systems
Power conversion expertise and knowledge of IEEE 1547-2018, UL 1741, and other grid/safety codes and standards
Masters of Science or PhD in Electrical Engineering/related field
