Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer to work for a Government client that focuses on aerospace projects. This will be a remote role with 50% travel, and will be working under an asset management group that supports both internal facility contracts and external customers to build efficient operation and maintenance programs based on sound reliability engineering principles. Responsibilities will include:



- Establishing and implementing reliability engineering principles and best work practices in accordance with the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) or equivalent

- Utilize Maximo (CMMS) to plan, track and evaluate effectiveness of maintenance activities

- Improve/automate operations and maintenance tasks to provide optimal performance

- Determine the function, capability, functional failure modes, probability of failure, impact severity and acceptable risk for assets to define the right maintenance equipment requirements to eliminate functional failures and their effects

- Develop maintenance strategies and job plans for equipment

- Provide day-to-day engineering support to operations and maintenance issues

- Provide recommendations for improvements in process, procedure, systems and infrastructure using diagrams, calculations, drawings and reports

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, within facility or equipment maintenance

- Experience in the use of Maximo to prepare, review and issue maintenance work

- Experience with BAS

- Strong understanding of SMRP

- Building Automation and/or PLC experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or applicable field

- Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- CMRP and/or CRL certified
