The ServiceNow Sr Developer works with our Product Administration team and ServiceNow Architect to build and deliver solutions in ServiceNow that meet our business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ServiceNow and its associated modules, understanding how various components can be utilized to achieve a desired result. They will also maintain and/or create additional documentation for the processes they implement to ensure that others can correctly interpret it. This role will often act as a problem solver, looking for solutions to business needs brought by the Administration/Support team or stakeholders, and meeting requirements and guidelines outlined by the product Architect.
The right candidate will be an energetic self-starter. The individual will be comfortable in all stages of the software development lifecycle and will be able to balance direct problem solving of immediate needs along with more advanced development on structured solutions proposed by the product Architect.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Build solutions that are requested by the product Architect that meet detailed requirements as outlined by our business analysts.
* Work hands on with ServiceNow administration to build complex objects behind the scenes that support operational workflows, performing any scripting necessary to support a live production environment.
* Review existing functionality and/or processes and identify areas the improve scalability and performance.
* Support integrations with other technologies by working with developers for other products as well as the Integration Data Management team.
* 3+ Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration
* 2-3 years of experience with ServiceNow CSM (Customer Service Management).
* Experience with Flow Designer, Scheduled Script Executions (Scheduled Jobs), notifications, building applications, custom widgets
- Ideally playbook experience (would settle if they were really strong with CSM
- Potential to become a Sr/Lead Developer in the next year
