Systems Engineer

An employer is looking for a Systems Engineer for an IT Support company in Long Beach, CA. This person will be assigned to the terminal and supporting the servers/infrastructure. This person will be monitoring, troubleshooting, patch upgrades, equipment replacements, introductions to new systems and overseeing the entire infrastructure on-site and building up server support.

**This role is 100% on-site**

**The employment would be for a 6month contract, with possibility to be converted to Full Time Employee based on performance**

**HOURS: Monday-Friday 8-5pm PST - guaranteed 40hour work week**

**MUST BE FLEXIBLE WORKING WEEKENDS/NIGHT HOURS - most likely OT over 40hours on given projects**

3-5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer

3+ years of experience with VMWare

3+ years of experience with Windows Servers & Linux Servers

Cloud Experience - AWS and/or AZURE (mainly work with AWS for making new instances)

Docker experience

BA Degree/MBA

Degrees or certifications (i.e. SOC/SOX certification showing they know the specific product they are working on)

Python, powershell, bash, Kubernetes
