Job Description
Responsibilities:
Assemble company products to engineering specifications; inspect products — including sheet metal, PCB assemblies, cable assemblies, and labeling — for compliance with order specifications and established quality standards.
Measure and calibrate analog and digital electronic circuits using various testing equipment; report deficiencies and errors to management and assist in maintaining comprehensive inspection records for accepted and non-conforming products.
Examine and prepare domestic and international product shipments; interface with shipping carriers to ensure shipments meet required specifications and correspond with shippers to resolve damages and shortages.
Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing identifying information, counts, weights, and measurements against bills of lading, invoices, and other records; prepare and affix shipping labels to packed cartons.
Monitor and manage inventory levels of shipping materials and supplies; assist in analyzing inspection and purchasing data to generate supplier performance reports using relevant software.
Assist in facilitating material review board (MRB) processes and the disposition of non-conforming materials; safely operate lift trucks, forklifts, hand trucks, and carts to transport shipments within the organization.
Day to Day:
This role involves assembling and testing electronic products, performing basic troubleshooting, inspecting quality, packaging and shipping orders, and maintaining organized inventory. It is a hands-on position that combines electronics assembly, quality control, and warehouse operations to ensure products are built accurately and delivered efficiently.
