Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Agent for a top equipment rental and construction services client. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for end users, providing high-volume technical support in a fast-paced desktop support environment. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows-based hardware and software issues, and the ability to effectively document and resolve support tickets. This role is heavily phone-focused and will support users with password resets, Active Directory tasks, printer issues, desktop and laptop troubleshooting, and general IT support requests. The team operates in a highly collaborative environment with no formal tier structure, giving candidates broad exposure to a variety of technologies and opportunities to grow their technical skill set while delivering excellent customer service. This is a contract to hire role, on site in Modesto, CA.

Required Skills & Experience
• Enterprise desktop support/help desk experience
• Strong customer service and end-user support skills
• Experience with ticketing systems and thorough documentation
• Knowledge of IT concepts including Active Directory and domain management
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Software and hardware troubleshooting experience

• Ability to work independently with strong troubleshooting aptitude
Comfortable handling a high-volume phone support environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree
• SCCM (Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager) experience
Asset deployment, imaging, or equipment provisioning experience
