Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and relationship-driven Contract Liaison to support a large scientific and healthcare-focused organization. This individual will serve as a key coordinator between internal business partners, procurement teams, compliance stakeholders, and external vendors to facilitate the end-to-end contracting process.
This is an operations-focused position that will own contract intake, documentation collection, workflow management, and stakeholder communication while ensuring requests move efficiently through established procurement and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate the submission, review, and processing of contracts, work orders, service agreements, and master service agreements (MSAs).
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, procurement teams, compliance groups, and vendors.
• Manage contract requests from initiation through approval and execution.
• Navigate contract management systems and databases to determine appropriate workflows and approval paths.
• Utilize decision trees and established processes to guide stakeholders through contracting requirements.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings with internal teams to resolve contract-related questions and drive approvals.
• Track contract status, maintain documentation, and ensure all required information is collected and submitted accurately.
• Support vendor onboarding and engagement activities for service-based vendors and scientific partners.
• Partner with procurement to communicate contracting requirements and timelines to business stakeholders.
• Assist with healthcare compliance-related agreements and requests when applicable.
• Maintain and organize large volumes of contract and vendor information using Excel and internal systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4-5+ years of experience in procurement, outsourcing, contracting operations, vendor management, or a related function.
• Experience supporting contract workflows, purchase orders, vendor agreements, or procurement operations.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle processes and approval workflows.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and maintain large datasets.
• Experience working within contract management, procurement, or vendor management systems.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting scientific, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or laboratory-focused organizations.
• Familiarity with procurement and vendor management platforms such as:
o Aravo
o APEX
o Tableau
o eMarketplace
o Totality
o ICD
o Request Navigator (EU)
• Experience supporting healthcare compliance-related contracting activities.
• Understanding of procurement processes involving scientific vendors and service providers.
