Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Test Engineer for a top defense and aerospace client. This individual will support a highly visible program focused on software and system integration testing for new software capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing test plans and procedures, executing capability and regression testing, validating requirements, and supporting integration efforts across a complex technical environment. This role requires collaboration with engineers, technical leads, and program stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of mission-critical capabilities. Candidates with experience supporting government programs in modern testing environments, will be especially well-positioned for success. An active Top Secret clearance is required. On-site work is required in the Rancho Bernardo area in San Diego, CA.

Required Skills & Experience
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance
• Experience developing test plans, test procedures, and integration testing strategies for government programs.
• Ability to write detailed test procedures and execute test cases
• Experience with new software capability testing, regression testing, integration testing, and requirements verification/sell-off.
• Comfortable working independently and within a collaborative team environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Ability to read and follow procedures and flow diagrams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
• Playwright experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• Experience supporting customer briefings and technical reviews
• Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Postman, GitHub/GitLab, Java, XML, JSON, SQL, Javascript, and AWS, C2S
