Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Maintenance Technician II to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment used throughout our hydraulic testing laboratory and production environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial maintenance, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, control valves, pumps, hoses, diaphragms, and related components.
Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, equipment inspections, and component replacements.
Support the Hydraulic Test Lab by preparing fixtures and equipment for testing activities.
Maintain and repair laboratory equipment, including UV testing chambers and associated systems.
Replace fluorescent lighting, electrical components, and other facility-related equipment as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose issues and perform repairs.
Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment concerns to leadership.
Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and laboratory personnel to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
This role can pay $25-$30/hr.

Required Skills & Experience
2-3+ years of maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing, industrial, laboratory, or related environment.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Experience working with hydraulics, pumps, valves, hoses, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
Experience supporting testing laboratories or industrial manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of hydraulic testing systems and fixtures.
Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs.
Electrical background (license not required).
