Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Plumber for a leading facilities and construction-related client in the San Juan Capistrano area. This individual will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and water systems in commercial and/or residential environments. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, experience working with various piping materials, and a solid understanding of building codes and safety regulations. This role offers the opportunity to support both routine maintenance activities and larger-scale plumbing projects while working alongside contractors and project teams in a fast-paced environment.
Install new plumbing and water systems
Maintain and repair existing plumbing infrastructure
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues
Install and maintain valves, piping systems, and fixtures
Ensure all installations and repairs meet local building codes
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Work with a variety of piping materials, including PEX and cast iron
Partner with contractors and project managers on larger projects
Follow all site safety policies and procedures

Required Skills & Experience
Plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair experience
Strong knowledge of plumbing construction principles
Experience troubleshooting plumbing systems and identifying root causes
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in the plumbing trade
Knowledge of building codes and plumbing compliance requirements
Experience working with valves, piping systems, and fixtures
Familiarity with multiple pipe materials, including PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) and cast iron
Understanding of pipe conveyance systems and fluid flow
Commitment to workplace safety standards and procedures
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Commercial plumbing experience
Experience supporting large-scale construction or renovation projects
Exposure to HVAC systems
Experience collaborating with contractors and project managers
Preventative maintenance and inspection experience
