Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Spacecraft Test Technician in the Greater San Jose Area. This individual will be responsible for performing operational tests on a wide variety of subassemblies and systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, test specifications and test procedures. Additional duties include: setting up and operates in accordance with prescribed procedures using standard test equipment such as pulse generators, amplifiers, oscilloscopes and voltmeters, working with engineering instructions and standard test procedures to operationally test developmental products as required, interpreting test data and checks results against specifications and test procedures and data sheets to determine proper functioning and quality of product.

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in avionics, propulsion, electrical or mechanical test environment
Experience with Linux command line tools
Experience working with engineers in development and production environments
Able to read and interpret wiring schematics and assembly drawings
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
2+ years of hands-on electro-mechanical assembly experience in the aerospace industry, aviation, military or other high-volume operating environment preferred
Experience with CAD such as Solidworks or similar software
Experience with MES and ERP systems
Experience working in a Class 10k (ISO 7) cleanroom
A&P Certified
