Job Description

The Second Shift Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing final inspections of manufactured products to ensure they meet company specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining product integrity by identifying defects, contamination, mixed lots, or non-conforming materials before products are released for shipment. The schedule is from 2:00pm-2:30pm with no flexibility.
Essential Responsibilities
Perform final quality inspections on finished products.
Visually inspect products for defects, contamination, debris, cosmetic flaws, and other quality concerns.
Verify part numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and product labeling for accuracy.
Scan products and materials to identify mixed lots and ensure product traceability.
Document inspection results and communicate quality concerns to supervisors or manufacturing personnel.
Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
Assist with product segregation and disposition of non-conforming materials when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications
Required
1 + years of manufacturing experience.
Ability to perform detailed visual inspections with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions.
Basic math skills and ability to accurately count inventory and product quantities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
Previous Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working in plastics, medical device, or injection molding manufacturing environments.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Basic computer skills for data entry and scanning systems.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the production floor for extended periods.
Ability to frequently use hands for inspection, handling, and packaging activities.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Ability to perform close visual inspections of small components and finished products.
