Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Field Operations/Site Manager candidate to help support NOC/HUT locations for a growing team within the telecom space. This role will require candidates to travel to different site locations across the US, supporting facilities and overall HUT operations.
Responsibilities:.
* Oversee the maintenance and repair of all network operations equipment and systems, including electrical systems, HVAC systems, security systems, network infrastructure, and building systems.
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
* Generate and maintain network element configuration documentation.
* Administer the facility maintenance budget.
* Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed on time and within budget.
* Participate in network capacity planning and forecasting.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest network technologies and trends.
Additional notes: There will be a tier of hiring skill sets needed. This will play a factor into pay rate.

Required Skills & Experience
* Experience leading preventive maintenance programs.
* Experience with network element management systems (EMS).
- Strong understanding of Data Comms/Data Center/Telecomm (Cell towers will also work)
- Strong understanding of Circuit board troubleshooting, Power (DC Power) troubleshooting
-Background troubleshooting cable repairs, Battery upgrades, basic generator troubleshooting
- Strong ability to think on the fly and fix problems
- ability to drive, fly to locations (60% traveling role)
- Strong Project coordination work
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Automation experience (PLC,SNMP)-simple network management protocol
Tons of experience with Batteries and DC power plants
Preferred location Austin or San Antonio
* Familiarity with network design, wireless networks and fiber systems for commercial and residential services.
* Experience with fiber builds and wireless networks for FWA and mobile
* Extensive technical knowledge of networking technologies (MPLS, ISIS, BGP, and DHCP).
