Job Description

This role will be focused on supporting our client’s Brand Social ecosystem. The team operates as a centralized insights function, translating social, cultural, and consumer signals into actionable intelligence that informs marketing, product, and executive decision making.

This position is focused on building and scaling AI-powered automation and data infrastructure that enables the team to move from manual reporting to real-time, scalable insight generation. The role blends media data expertise, data science, engineering, and applied AI to enhance how insights are produced, distributed, and operationalized across multiple product areas.

Day-to-day Responsibilities
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role embedded within the team’s data and insights workflows. The individual will partner closely with analysts, program leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve how insights are generated, scaled, and delivered.

Day-to-day, this individual will work directly within the data and tooling environment to operationalize insights, improve system efficiency, and ensure high-quality, scalable outputs. The role blends social listening expertise, data infrastructure, and applied AI—requiring someone who can both build and iterate quickly while translating complex data into meaningful, actionable insights for stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong data science mindset, applying analytical rigor, experimentation, and modeling techniques to better understand consumer behavior, cultural trends, and brand performance signals.

Additionally, they will:

• Build and maintain end-to-end social listening infrastructure, including query design, data ingestion, and processing across platforms and Google Cloud environments
• Design and evaluate experiments, measurement frameworks, and data-driven approaches that improve decision making and enhance the effectiveness of the team’s insight products
• Execute and evolve centralized monitoring frameworks that track brand, cultural, and consumer conversations across the client’s product ecosystem
• Develop and manage automated insight generation workflows, including recurring reports, dashboards, and distributed insight outputs
• Support the team’s transition to real-time and scalable reporting, reducing manual analysis and improving speed-to-insight
• Create and enhance cultural intelligence dashboards, surfacing trends, sentiment shifts, and actionable insights for stakeholders
• Apply AI/LLM tools (e.g., Gemini, Vertex AI) to accelerate summarization, signal detection, and narrative generation
• Build and refine triaging and distribution systems to ensure insights are routed to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely, actionable way
• Maintain data quality and reliability through continuous validation of queries, sources, and outputs
• Partner with analysts and stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, executive-ready narratives that inform campaign, product, and brand decisions
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual workflows, improving efficiency and scalability across the team
• Contribute to ongoing experimentation with new tools, models, and data sources to evolve the team’s insight-generation capabilities
