Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Healthcare Project Manager to support STV construction healthcare construction projects in Los Angeles, CA. This individual will serve as the Owner's Representative and oversee construction activities during night shift operations within active hospital environments. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring construction work is completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to patient care and daily hospital operations.

SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 6:00PM - 2:00AM PST Onsite

Responsibilities include leading construction execution, coordinating contractors and consultants, conducting field inspections, managing project schedules and budgets, reviewing change orders and pay applications, and communicating project updates to hospital leadership and other stakeholders. The Project Manager will also collaborate closely with facilities teams, clinical staff, and infection prevention personnel to support construction activities in occupied healthcare settings.

The ideal candidate has experience managing healthcare construction projects within active hospitals, understands the challenges of working around patient care environments, and can successfully navigate healthcare-specific requirements related to safety, infection prevention, risk management, and hospital operations. This person should be a strong communicator and leader capable of driving project success during overnight construction operations

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred)
* 5+ years of construction project management or Owner's Representative experience supporting healthcare, hospital, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other complex institutional projects
*Healthcare construction projects valued at $10M+ including renovations within occupied hospital environments
* Experience coordinating construction activities while maintaining uninterrupted hospital operations and patient care environments
*Experience managing project schedules, budgets, change orders, contractor pay applications, and project reporting
*Experience managing contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams throughout construction execution and project closeout
*Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
*Experience working directly with hospital leadership, facilities teams, clinical staff, and construction partners
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and project management software

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

*Experience serving as an Owner's Representative on healthcare construction projects
*Knowledge of Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) processes
*Knowledge of Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) requirements and hospital safety protocols
