Job Description

An insurance broker is looking for a ServiceNow Administrator to support the ongoing administration, maintenance, and optimization of a large-scale ServiceNow environment. In this role, the ServiceNow Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the platform, ensuring it remains stable, secure, and aligned with business needs. They will manage user enrollment, access requests, roles, groups, and permissions across a complex environment supporting more than 15,000 users. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for ServiceNow support, troubleshooting platform issues, managing incoming tickets, and determining when issues should be resolved independently versus escalated to development or implementation teams. The ServiceNow Administrator will support and maintain ITSM modules including Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Service Catalog Management while ensuring proper governance, security, and user access controls. Additionally, they will create reports and dashboards for business stakeholders, maintain accurate platform documentation, develop and update knowledge articles, and communicate effectively with both technical teams and end users. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ServiceNow administration, user and role management, ITSM processes, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication within an enterprise-level environment.

Required Skills & Experience

2–5 years of dedicated ServiceNow Administration experience
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required
Experience managing users, groups, roles, and access controls (ACLs)
Experience supporting a large enterprise ServiceNow environment (15,000+ users preferred)
Experience administering ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Service Catalog)
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to determine when issues require escalation
Experience creating reports and dashboards within ServiceNow
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong documentation skills
Experience supporting platform governance, security, and user access management

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with CMDB administration
Knowledge of Employee Center / Employee Works / Slate
Experience with Knowledge Management and Service Catalog
Understanding of platform security and role-based access controls
Exposure to Flow Designer
Experience supporting ServiceNow upgrades and releases
Platform Analytics certification or reporting-focused ServiceNow training
