Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Test Engineer (EOL Tester) to support a prominent defense contractor's EE Test team in designing, building, automating, and deploying End-of-Line (EOL) test systems for production hardware. This individual will develop test hardware and software, integrate automated test solutions, support manufacturing, troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analysis, and work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to improve production test coverage and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or End-of-Line (EOL) test systems
Hands-on experience with LabVIEW or similar test automation tools
PCB design and board-level debugging experience
Strong Electrical Engineering Fundamentals
Altium Designer (schematic capture and PCB layout) or CAD
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
Experience with hardware integration, validation, and production testing
Root cause analysis and hardware debugging experience
Experience partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
Experience deploying test systems and supporting manufacturing handoff

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Altium Designer (schematic capture and PCB layout)
Capital Harness or similar wire harness design tools
Teamcenter, Windchill, or other PLM systems
Aerospace, Defense, Space, Automotive, or other high-reliability manufacturing experience
PCB design and board-level debugging experience
Manufacturing test process experience
Failure analysis, regression testing, and corrective action experience
Experience supporting production environments
Experience supporting defense programs or mission-critical hardware systems
Experience with high-volume or low-rate production manufacturing environments
