Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a mechanical engineer to support a high performance computing company. This person will be responsible for taking customer needs and turning them into workable requirements, designing thermal management systems (both conduction and forced conduction) and testing them to ensure performance. This person will also be working within solidworks to assess shock, vibration, thermal through simulation.
Additional Responsibilities include:
Analyze electromechanical systems for design level environmental requirements compliance.
Lead qualification testing on prototype assemblies to verify environmental requirement compliance.
Work with component suppliers to source rapid proto hardware.
Creates prototype assembly instructions and working with technicians to build and test your designs.
Establish thermal and mechanical requirements for the heating and cooling in thermal management unit and interfacing with suppliers for respective development.
Establishing structural requirements for the shock & vibrational needs of computing systems in transportable environments and interfacing with suppliers for respective development.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors Degree in Related Field
4+ Years of Mechanical engineering experience
2+ Years of experience using Solidworks
3+ Years of experience with Thermal Management and testing
