Job Description

We are seeking an AI Engineer who is passionate about building AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and agentic workflows. This role is ideal for a junior to mid-level professional who is hands-on, collaborative, and excited to solve complex business challenges through AI.
Rather than building custom AI models or developing sophisticated machine learning solutions, this individual will focus on designing, configuring, and deploying AI agents in Copilot Studio that improve productivity, automate research and quality control processes, and support decision-making across the organization.
The ideal candidate is technically curious, process-oriented, user-focused, and enjoys working closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain AI agents and agentic workflows within Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Partner closely with business users to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for AI-enabled automation.
• Develop AI solutions that can search, retrieve, summarize, and analyze information from large internal document repositories and structured data sources.
• Configure agents that support document creation, content review, quality assurance, and compliance-related processes.
• Build AI-powered reference and research assistants that help teams identify relevant historical decisions, commitments, requirements, and supporting documentation.
• Create quality control agents that validate content against defined standards, naming conventions, formatting requirements, and business rules.
• Continuously improve agent performance through testing, stakeholder feedback, and iterative enhancements.
• Help establish best practices for AI agent development, governance, and user adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify additional business use cases and expand AI capabilities over time.

Initial Project Focus
The initial engagement will support PG&E's Wildfire Mitigation Plan (WMP) development process. The WMP is a highly complex regulatory filing that requires extensive analysis, documentation, consistency checks, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
Examples of agent capabilities may include:
• Reference Agent
o Search internal documents, prior filings, historical decisions, and organizational knowledge repositories.
o Surface relevant information that may support or contradict current content.
o Assist authors with research and context gathering.
• Regulatory Research Agent
o Analyze historical feedback, decisions, and guidance from Energy Safety and other relevant agencies.
o Identify trends, precedents, and considerations that may impact current filings.
• Quality Control Agent
o Review content against established guidelines and requirements.
o Validate formatting, naming conventions, and consistency across large volumes of data and documentation.
o Flag potentially conflicting statements or commitments.
• Commitment Tracking Agent
o Identify commitments, actions, and obligations within draft content.
o Highlight language that may require revision or additional review.
