Job Description
This contractor will be responsible for building and scaling our clients Reddit presence from the ground up, acting as the brand’s voice within the platform. The role blends content creation, community engagement, and strategic insight—requiring someone who deeply understands Reddit culture and can authentically engage users while driving brand awareness and trust in a sensitive healthcare space.
• Own and execute our clients Reddit strategy end-to-end (planning, posting, engagement, growth)
• Create and publish Reddit-native content aligned with brand and business goals
• Actively engage in relevant subreddit conversations to build credibility and trust
• Monitor discussions and proactively identify opportunities to join conversations across Reddit and other social platforms
• Moderate Reddit activity, ensuring brand voice, compliance, and community standards are upheld
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, Creative, SEO, Paid Media, and Brand teams
• Respond to users with empathy and professionalism, especially in healthcare-related discussions
• Escalate customer issues, risks, or sensitive topics to appropriate internal teams
• Track engagement metrics, sentiment, and emerging trends within the community
• Compile and share reporting with actionable insights to refine strategy and improve performance

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in community management, social media, or content marketing
• Hands-on experience with Reddit (deep understanding of subreddit dynamics, moderation, and culture)
• Proven ability to manage online communities and drive engagement
• Strong content creation skills tailored to platform-specific formats (especially Reddit-native content)
• Excellent written communication and ability to represent brand voice authentically
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret engagement and performance data
• Experience using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr or similar)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience working both at an agency and an in-house brand
• Background in healthcare, health tech, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with crisis management or brand risk mitigation on social platforms
• Experience scaling or launching a brand presence from zero on Reddit or similar platforms
• Knowledge of SEO and how Reddit content aligns with search visibility
• Experience managing paid + organic social strategies in tandem
