Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire an operations manager on behalf of a client in the Los Angeles area. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced music academy, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for both clients and instructors.
The Operations Manager will manage a portfolio of approximately 200 clients, maintaining scheduling consistency, ensuring attendance, and owning the full client lifecycle—from onboarding through ongoing engagement. This role is highly customer-facing and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Schedule Requirements:
Candidates must be able to work during business hours:
• Weekdays: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
• Weekends: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Manage and maintain scheduling for ~200 active clients and instructors
• Monitor lesson attendance and proactively address cancellations, reschedules, and gaps
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a positive and high-touch experience
• Own the full client lifecycle, including onboarding, retention, and engagement
• Coordinate with instructors to ensure smooth lesson delivery and scheduling alignment
• Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently
• Track client satisfaction and provide regular updates to leadership
• Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, and process improvements
• Support business growth initiatives through strong client relationship management

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in customer service, high end retail/restaurant groups, or event planning.
• Experience managing high-volume scheduling or client/customer portfolios
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
• High attention to detail and ability to problem-solve in real time

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in a music, education, or service-based industry
• Background managing instructors, contractors, or schedules in a service environment
• Experience with CRM or scheduling systems
• Strong data tracking/reporting or operational analytics experience
