Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Scheduler with 8–12 years of construction scheduling experience supporting large-scale mission-critical projects. This individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, analyzing, and optimizing complex project schedules throughout the full project lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on Primavera P6 expertise. The Scheduler will work closely with project managers, superintendents, project controls teams, trade partners, and owners to ensure project milestones, critical path activities, and resource plans are accurately developed and maintained. This role is site-based and requires extensive field collaboration to support successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule Development & Management
• Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive CPM schedules in Primavera P6.
• Create baseline schedules, recovery schedules, look-ahead schedules, and schedule updates.
• Establish project work breakdown structures (WBS), activity coding, logic ties, calendars, and resource loading.
• Maintain schedule integrity and ensure compliance with project control standards and scheduling best practices.
Critical Path Analysis
• Perform critical path and near-critical path analysis.
• Identify schedule risks, opportunities, constraints, and potential impacts to project milestones.
• Develop mitigation and recovery plans to address schedule delays.
• Forecast schedule performance and recommend strategic adjustments to maintain project objectives.
Field Coordination
• Partner closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, MEP teams, Project Controls, and subcontractors.
• Conduct routine schedule reviews with project stakeholders.
• Validate field progress and incorporate actuals into project schedules.
• Coordinate procurement, equipment deliveries, installation activities, testing, and commissioning milestones.
Reporting & Communication
• Prepare weekly and monthly schedule updates and executive reports.
• Present schedule status, milestone trends, and risk assessments to project leadership and stakeholders.
• Document schedule changes, constraints, and impacts.
• Communicate critical path updates and potential project risks clearly and effectively.
Continuous Improvement
• Utilize scheduling best practices and lessons learned to improve execution planning.
• Support schedule standardization efforts and project controls initiatives.
• Mentor junior schedulers and provide technical guidance on planning and scheduling methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience
• Expert-level Primavera P6 experience (required).
• 8–12 years of construction scheduling experience.
• Advanced understanding of CPM scheduling principles.
• Experience on large-scale construction projects valued at $100M+.
• Strong knowledge of:
○ Construction means and methods
○ Procurement and material tracking
○ Cost and schedule impacts
○ Change management
○ Resource planning
○ Commissioning and turnover sequencing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and schedule reporting tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) certification preferred.
• Experience integrating schedule updates with project controls and earned value reporting.
