Job Description
Design, develop, and maintain automated test tools and frameworks to support the software development lifecycle.
Spend approximately 20–30% of time participating in daily scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, and cross-functional team meetings.
Spend approximately 70–80% of time performing hands-on test automation, executing test suites, and collaborating closely with software developers.
Test software that integrates with next-generation sequencing devices and associated platforms.
Identify, document, and track defects while partnering with engineering teams to drive resolution.
Continuously learn new tools, technologies, and workflows to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Communicate test results, risks, and quality metrics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
4–5+ years of overall experience in software automation testing.
2–3+ years of hands-on experience with tools and environments such as Linux, Mocha, and unit testing frameworks.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in the biotechnology or life sciences industry.
Exposure to testing software that interfaces with hardware or scientific instruments.
