Job Description
We are seeking an Informatica Developer with strong backend data engineering experience to support multiple ongoing data integration projects. This role focuses on building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines that process healthcare data across internal applications. The ideal candidate works independently, handles multiple priorities, and actively improves system performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and related developer tools
• Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries within Oracle databases
• Use Python scripting for automation and data processing tasks
• Monitor workflows and troubleshoot performance issues and failures
• Analyze Informatica architecture to identify memory constraints and system bottlenecks
• Recommend and implement improvements to workflows, mappings, and performance
• Support multiple concurrent data integration projects and enhancements
• Convert healthcare industry data files into structured formats such as CSV or flat files
• Support upgrades and integration of in-house applications

Required Skills & Experience
• 5-7+ years of experience in Informatica development
• Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Developer Suite
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills
• Experience with Oracle databases, exposure to PostgreSQL is helpful
• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Experience working in Linux or Unix environments
• Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize data workflows
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience working with healthcare data and industry standards
• Familiarity with CMS regulations and healthcare data formats such as HL7 or EDI
• Experience supporting data conversions and transformation libraries
• Background in client onboarding and workflow customization
• Experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud is a plus
