Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join their team. This individual will be responsible for assembling highly precise mechanical and electrical systems, specifically automated contact crimping machines. This role requires strong hands-on experience with both mechanical and electrical components, as well as the ability to interpret technical documentation and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams.
This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative, small-team environment where individuals wear multiple hats and contribute directly to product development and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble complex electro-mechanical systems, including mechanical structures, wiring, and pneumatic components
Strip, crimp, and wire electrical components accurately
Install air hoses and support pneumatic system integration
Utilize hand tools, power tools, soldering irons, and testing equipment (e.g., voltmeters)
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to complete builds
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or assembly issues
Collaborate with mechanical/electrical engineers to implement updates and provide design feedback
Partner with toolmakers to test new components and improve product performance
Use measuring and calibration tools to ensure precision and quality
Package machines for shipment and support general production tasks
Communicate progress, timelines, and any issues effectively within the team

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree
5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly (preferably with precision systems)
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assemblies
Proficiency with common tools and testing equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with computers and basic software tools
Experience working in a small-team or production environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Effective communication and teamwork skills
