Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Change Manager (Expert/Principal level) to lead change management efforts for large-scale technology deployments within the Vegetation Management Data & Technology organization. This role will drive enterprise-level change strategies, ensuring successful adoption of complex systems and processes across divisional and company-wide stakeholders.
This individual will operate in a highly cross-functional environment, partnering closely with IT, project delivery teams, and business stakeholders to enable sustainable transformation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and execution of complex change management strategies, plans, and tactics for large-scale technology initiatives with broad organizational impact
o These include SAP, Salesforce, and Snowflake (IT and Data Releases)
• Develop and implement change frameworks that drive adoption, minimize disruption, and align with business objectives
• Identify and proactively mitigate change-related risks, dependencies, and impacts across programs
• Partner with program, product, and delivery teams in Agile/IT environments to integrate change management into project lifecycles
• Drive stakeholder engagement strategies, including executive-level alignment and communication planning
• Deliver and oversee change adoption best practices, including:
o Training strategy and execution
o Communications planning and delivery
o Readiness assessments and tracking
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to project teams, change practitioners, and business leaders
• Develop and deliver executive-ready communications, including presentations, briefings, and reports
• Manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring alignment across interdependent workstreams
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams and time zones to support program delivery and adoption

Provide consultation on change management approaches, plans, and practices. Assistance in implementing change management plans.
• CHANGE MANAGEMENT CONSULTATION: Provide change management support for major initiatives to ensure that the workforce is prepared for technology, process, and organizational changes in accordance with our Enterprise Change Standard. Assess change management needs and design change management plans that support organizational readiness for change, both pre and post project deployment. In partnership with project managers and business sponsors, execute change management plans that include coordinated Learning, Communication and Engagement activities. May partner with Learning and Communications teams to implement plans. Drive the sustained adoption of change to maximize effectiveness and benefits of change initiatives. Work with project teams to incorporate change management activities into the overall project plan.
• LEARNING AND COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES: Identify communication and training opportunities and approaches to facilitate understanding and to garner support for change. Review training and communication plans and deliverables to ensure they meet the needs of the project. May develop and implement communication plans on smaller projects.
• RISK ASSESSMENT: Anticipate people related risks and develop plans and actions to mitigate risks and address concerns.
• ONGOING ASSESSMENT & EVALUATION: Evaluate and measure results and success of change management strategies, plans and actions and present findings. At project close, develop project sustainability plan and monitor effectiveness.
• RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Develop & maintain relationships with project stakeholders including management, union leadership and matrix or cross-functional teams to deliver desired impact and results.
• OCM GOVERNANCE: Incorporate OCM Methodology into existing governance processes, participate in project evaluations and design strategies to assist project teams in meeting OCM requirements.
• KNOWLEDGE: Completion of instructor-led change management training in a change methodology aligned with the ACMP Standard.
• SCOPE: Leads change management strategy, approaches, plans, and tactics for high-impact change management initiatives involving cross-functional teams spanning multiple business groups.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• 8–10+ years of change management experience, including leading large-scale, complex transformation initiatives
• Proven experience supporting technology implementations and enterprise IT initiatives
• Strong background in IT and Agile project environments, with understanding of project delivery methodologies
o Experience in SAP and/or Salesforce Technology projects; experience with Snowflake or similar data projects as well
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently in complex, ambiguous environments
• Expertise in change adoption practices, including training, communications, and readiness methodologies
• Exceptional strategic communication skills, with strong writing, editing, and executive presentation capabilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and deliverables with minimal oversight

• Familiarity with large-scale operational or field-driven environments (e.g., vegetation management, asset management, inspections)
