Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Survivability Engineer for a top aerospace and defense technology client. This engineer will play a key role in the design, modeling, testing, and validation of low observable and survivable platforms. The role blends RF and electromagnetics analysis, tool development, hands-on testing, and cross-functional collaboration to influence next-generation system designs. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to advanced survivability technologies in a highly innovative engineering environment.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering or related technical discipline OR equivalent engineering experience (4+ years experience (BS) or 2+ years (MS) in survivability, RF, electromagnetics, or low observable (LO) design)
- Strong background in electromagnetics phenomenology with emphasis in RF technology
- Experience in design and modeling of vehicles and low observable systems utilizing 2D and 3D RCS analysis codes such as (but not limited to) RAM2D, Aurora, XPATCH, and SENTRi.
- Experience in creating geometry inputs using CAD and meshing tools, such as NX, Rhino, and Cubit.
- Experience in developing tools using MATLAB, LabView, Python or other programming languages.
- Understanding of a wide range of technical theories and concepts related to electromagnetics and RF integration of subsystems.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field preferred.
- Demonstrated experience modeling and analyzing various systems using codes.
- Experience with Pioneer, Saber or other similar tools for analysis of measured data is also desirable.
