Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Stress Engineer. This engineer will be responsible for the substantiation of various interiors and system aircraft commodities using classical, empirical, and finite element analysis (FEA) methods. The stress analyst must also be able to effectively communicate technical requirements, analysis and findings to engineers, leads, and managers. This position is onsite in Seal Beach, CA , Monday - Friday.

*This position requires flexibility to support a fleet operating 24/7/365. Occasional off-shift work may be necessary to respond to emergent issues.*

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor degree: engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
• Interiors Experience
• 3+ years of experience using linear and nonlinear statics Finite Element Analysis
• Experience with efficient load paths and structural behavior
• Experience with statics and structural analysis using classical, empirical, and finite element methods

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Masters Degree
• 3D CAD Experience
