Job Description
Seeking an HVAC Technician to support facilities operations, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and monitoring of building systems. This is a backfill role supporting a growing lab and office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC systems including:
VAV boxes
Fan coils and air handlers
Hydronic systems (boilers and chillers)
Monitor and operate building management systems (BMS)
Ensure proper function of valves, dampers, and controls
Diagnose system issues such as leaks, faulty coils, or airflow problems
Support refrigeration systems including mobile freezers and lab equipment
Coordinate with vendors for major repairs and escalations
Perform preventative maintenance and system checks
Navigate facility spaces including ladders, stairs, and tight areas

Required Skills & Experience
3–4+ years of HVAC experience in commercial environments
EPA Refrigeration Certification
Experience with chilled water and heating systems
Familiarity with BMS systems and controls
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience supporting lab or pharmaceutical environments
Experience with Thermo Scientific refrigeration units
Exposure to mini-split systems
