Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Test Technician to sit onsite at an Automotive client in Newark, CA. This person will install and setup test articles on test beds, execute both standard and lower risk non-standard tests. They will utilize flash basic software versions to test articles, provide organized and detailed feedback to test requestors and update test tickets. They will leverage basic data acquisition systems, related instrumentation, and diagnose and debug basic issues at a system, modular, and component level.

This role can pay $30-36 depending on years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience

•Minimum of 2 years of automotive or related technician experience.
•Experience troubleshooting and executing test profiles.
•Detail oriented personality with exceptional documentation and reporting skills.
•Strong Microsoft office and computer software literacy
•Basic experience working with standard industrial communication interfaces i.e. CANbus, Ethernet, Modbus

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

•Experience in dyno-specific testing interfaces.
•Experience with electric vehicle drive systems.
•Experience with electric vehicles and/or automotive products.
•Experience with Atlassian Jira, National Instruments hardware & related software strongly desired.
