Job Description
Our Fortune 500 SaaS client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Quality Engineer to join a growing team supporting merger and acquisition work for CRM functions. This team operates in an Agile/Scrum environment and is looking for a self-driven, consultative problem-solver who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate brings a consulting background and the ability to independently lead quality initiatives across complex Salesforce implementations.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Salesforce implementations, customizations, and integrations
• Lead quality assurance efforts across multiple Salesforce projects simultaneously
• Develop, enhance, and maintain automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Provar, Copado, or similar Salesforce test automation frameworks
• Validate APIs, Apex classes/triggers, Lightning components, Flows, and third-party integrations
• Collaborate with developers and administrators to identify root causes of defects and drive timely resolution
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing solutions (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Ensure all testing activities comply with company policies and Salesforce platform governance standards
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide reliable QA task estimates
• Support data migration and validation efforts within Salesforce environments

Required Skills & Experience
• 9–10 years of overall Quality Engineering experience
• 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce QE experience (evaluated on a person-to-person basis)
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks for Salesforce (Provar, Copado, Selenium WebDriver)
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong knowledge of data migration and validation techniques within Salesforce
• Exposure to performance and load testing tools
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead initiatives with minimal direction
Experience using java to write test scripts
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with TestNG and in-house framework enhancement and maintenance
Consulting or client-facing background strongly preferred
