Job Description

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Signage & Wayfinding Program/Project Manager for one of our top healthcare clients. This individual will oversee the signage and wayfinding program while also supporting end-to-end execution across projects—from design through installation and closeout. They will coordinate with internal departments, design teams, contractors, IT, and vendors to ensure signage solutions align with operational needs, patient experience, and regulatory requirements. This role will also manage signage standards, review packages and submittals, support digital wayfinding implementation, ensure compliance with codes, and drive continuous improvement across the program.

Job Responsibilities:

Function A: Project Management (60%)
• Coordinate end-to-end execution of signage/wayfinding (design → install → closeout).
• Serve as liaison between FP&D and UCDH departments to align signage with operations and patient experience.
• Develop signage scope, prepare packages, and submit PO&M service requests.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, vendors, IT, and sign consultants for delivery of static and digital signage.
• Support digital wayfinding implementation with IT/vendors to ensure system readiness.
• Manage change requests, track issues/risks, and escalate budget impacts.
• Review packages, drawings, and submittals for compliance with codes, UCDH standards, and design intent.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (Fire Marshal, local authorities, mandated postings).
• Conduct site walks/punch lists; resolve field issues and verify quality.
• Maintain issue logs, troubleshoot challenges, and document lessons learned.
Function B: Program Management (30%)
• Oversee signage/wayfinding program, including standards, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Review sign packages/submittals for alignment with UCDH master sign standards.
• Ensure consistent application of standards and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Partner with Patient Experience, Guest Relations, Regulatory/Compliance to define messaging and requirements.
• Coordinate with Sign Shop (PO&M) on fabrication standards and implementation consistency.
Function C: Organizational Development (10%)
• Support special initiatives (process improvement, staffing/consultant selection, disaster recovery, contracts).
• Promote standardized PM practices aligned with organizational goals.
• Contribute to leadership and team reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience as a project manager within signage
o Strong signage experience: wayfinding, directional, code licensing
o Working knowledge of signage compliance requirements, including: ADA, OSHPD / HCAI
o Demonstrated ability to collaborate with architects, contractors, and compliance teams
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in using Bluebeam, Excel, and Word

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Healthcare background
- Prior experience working in Click Up
- Experience using Smartsheets

$35/hr to $55/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
