Job Description

Job Summary
The IT Project Coordinator provides administrative, coordination, and project tracking support to IT Project Managers and Program Managers across the project lifecycle. This role ensures project activities, documentation, schedules, and communications are well organized, accurate, and completed on time. The IT Project Coordinator plays a critical role in enabling effective project execution by reducing administrative burden and improving communication, data quality, and follow through.
Key Responsibilities
• Support IT Project Managers with day to day project coordination, including planning, execution, and closeout activities
• Track and manage project action items, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring updates are documented and communicated
• Prepare, update, and maintain project documentation, including schedules, meeting notes, status reports, logs, and trackers
• Coordinate and schedule project meetings and governance forums, including agenda preparation, meeting logistics, and follow up actions
• Assist with project reporting and data accuracy in project management and portfolio tracking tools
• Support compliance with IT project delivery standards, governance, and stage gate requirements by tracking required artifacts and approvals
• Act as a communication liaison among project team members to support alignment, issue visibility, and timely follow ups
• Assist with onboarding, documentation management, and general project administration as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications
• Experience providing administrative, coordination, or project support in an IT or business environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and up to date project records
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed team environment supporting multiple stakeholders
• Basic understanding of IT project lifecycles and delivery processes
• Prior experience supporting IT projects, programs, or PMO organizations
• Familiarity with project tracking, documentation, or portfolio management tools
• Experience supporting governance, reporting, or compliance activities
