Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Scheduler to support a large, utility scale renewable energy EPC organization. This is a fully remote role supporting multiple large scale projects across the U.S.

Responsibilities include:
• Support multiple project teams across the full construction lifecycle, including preconstruction, active construction, and project closeout
• Develop, maintain, and update Level 3 / Level 4 schedules for large scale EPC renewable energy projects (typically $50M–$100M+, utility scale preferred)
• Use Oracle Primavera P6 to create baseline schedules, manage logic, track progress, perform updates, and analyze impacts
• Manage detailed schedules with 5,000+ activities, ensuring accurate sequencing and logic
• Eventually, perform resource loading and support schedule driven forecasting
• Identify schedule risks, delays, and constraints, and propose mitigation strategies
• Collaborate cross functionally with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams.
• Participate in regular coordination and progress meetings with project stakeholders.
• Mentor and support project teams and junior schedulers on scheduling best practices, tools, and processes
• Prepare schedule reports, look ahead schedules, and executive level updates.
• Comfortable traveling to job sites across the US (roughly once a quarter)

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field)
• 5–8+ years of construction scheduling experience
• Full schedule ownership experience (activity creation, sequencing, baselines, progress tracking, and resource loading)
• Strong knowledge and experience with Primavera P6 (required)
• Strong communication and problem solving skills; ability to articulate real world scheduling scenarios

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Preferred experience working at large scale EPC or engineering firms
• Proven experience supporting complex projects valued at $50M+ (utility scale renewable preferred)
