Job Description
Day to Day
• Support routers, switches, telecom servers/appliances, and other telecommunications equipment
• Assist with the design, installation, upgrades, changes, and maintenance of network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic network and telecommunications issues
• Administer telecommunications equipment and applications following established procedures
• Maintain documentation including network diagrams, procedures, inventories, root cause analyses, and reports
• Assist with vendor coordination, comparisons, and cost studies for large-scale systems projects
• Provide support for audits and compliance-related requests
• Track and evaluate new networking technologies and products
• Make recommendations for hardware, software, and service purchases
• Collaborate with IT teams, managers, vendors, and consultants
• Support additional work orders as needed
• Participate in after-hours or on-call rotations as required

Required Skills & Experience
• 1-2 years of experience with network or telecommunications technology
• Basic working knowledge of networking concepts
• Ability to troubleshoot clearly defined technical issues
• Strong willingness and ability to learn technical concepts quickly
• Professional demeanor with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work flexible hours or participate in an on-call schedule
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, or CCDP
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Exposure to enterprise networking environments or telecom systems
• Experience working with vendors or supporting infrastructure projects
