Job Description

Our client, a global industrial technology company, is seeking a Software QA Engineer I to support testing efforts for software systems that interact with physical hardware and machine platforms. This role focuses on executing test plans, performing regression testing, and validating functionality across systems used in real-world environments. The QA Engineer will work closely with developers and system engineers to understand requirements, build test cases, and ensure software quality across releases. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their QA career to gain exposure to complex, hardware-integrated systems.

Required Skills & Experience

* 1–3 years of experience in software QA or testing
* Experience executing manual testing and regression testing
* Ability to write and execute test plans and test cases
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to collaborate with developers and engineering teams
* Basic understanding of software development lifecycle

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience reviewing logs or assisting with debugging issues
* Exposure to hardware-integrated or system-level testing environments
* Experience in industrial or lab-based environments
* Familiarity with test tracking tools (Jira or similar)
