Job Description

Insight Global is seeking TS/SCI Field Service Engineers to support an exciting, large mission for a defense customer. This person will undergo 6 months of training in San Diego, CA and then deploy to work onsite in Whidbey Island, WA providing hands-on technical support. This person will be a part of the team responsible the deployment, operations and maintenance of the mission critical systems. This person should have experience with full lifecycle troubleshooting any problems with any part of the payload such as the MFAS Radar, EO/IR, and airborne recorder. This person should be solutions oriented, independently motivated, and have experience learning standard operating procedures of a new system. The work environment is dynamic, fast paced, and will involve communication with the customer and other miliary personnel.

Required Skills & Experience

- Active TS/SCI
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 6+ years of applicable experience
- Active Sec+ (or able to obtain before completion of 6-month training program)
- Competence in Linux, troubleshooting, engineering documents, tools and equipment
- Experience troubleshooting and or administrating Windows/Linux servers
- Familiarity with payloads operations or comms/networking operations
- Expertise in fault isolation, remediation, and resolution trouble shooting to ensure consistent flight operations
- Experience with field integration, hands on troubleshooting and repair of systems in the field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- DoD 8140 approved IAT Level II (or higher)
- Experience managing servers and windows domain architecture
- Experience working off of maintenance instructions and maintenance sign off processes
- Experience with test equipment: network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators
